My name is Gilian and I am a licensed hair and make-up artist in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Through this art I am able to not only express myself in a creative way, but also to make others see themselves in a different, positive light. I believe in enhancing natural beauty, but I also love full glamour and stepping out of the box! I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising from California State University, Northridge. I finished my assisting program at Butterfly Loft Salon in Encino, CA and am co-founder of The Mermaid Bar Salon in Encino, CA. I currently work at Parlour 308 Salon in Los Gatos, CA doing hair and make up. My specialties include blonde, balayage and short, edgy haircuts. I have training from NYX Cosmetics, Temptu, MAC Cosmetics, Dermalogica, Wella, Pulp Riot, Redken, Vidal Sassoon and Pravana, all throughout Los Angeles and the Bay Area, CA. I also specialize in bridal and weddings and have experience in photo shoots, fashion shows and have had my work published on multiple occasions. I look forward to meeting you!
